Whanganui District Health Board aims to keep the community informed at all times of its plans through consultation, communication and the regular release of information. 

Meetings of the Board and statutory committees are also open to the public and members of the public are invited to raise issues or make deputations to the Board.  

From time to time Whanganui District Health Board will establish a special interest forum to receive advice and feedback related to specific strategic and service planning initiatives and processes.
