The Assessment, Treatment & Rehabilitation Service provides specialised care for patients with a goal to restore the patient to their optimum functional ability and enable them to live as independently as possible.
The service works across a spectrum of settings, including the Whanganui Hospital, outpatients and the patients everyday environments.
People, over the age of 16, who have physical, emotional, social and development disabilities, such as arthritis, strokes, amputations and dementia, can benefit from the Assessment, Treatment & Rehabilitation Service.
