WDHB asks public not to call hospital with offers to donate blood
22 February 2010
Please do not call Wanganui Hospital with offers to donate blood.
Whanganui District Health Board WDHB Chief Executive Julie Patterson says the hospital switchboard has been jammed due to the volume of calls received and it’s important people understand that Wanganui Hospital does not provide blood donation services.
Anyone wishing to donate blood can call the New Zealand Blood Service on call free 0800 448325 or can go to www.nzblood.co.nz
