Quit Line

Quit Group is a national service that runs quit smoking programmes in New Zealand. Quit Group run the free national Quit Line services which include:

• Quit Line Telephone Support
  Talk to a Quit Advisor, access resources or obtain nicotine patches or gum by phoning 0800 778 778
• Quit Line Website
  Online information and chatrooms at www.quit.org.nz
• TXT2Quit
  Receive motivational quit messages on your cell phone by signing up for TXT2Quit
• Quit Card
  This is a low cost voucher for eight weeks worth of nicotine patches, gum and lozenges

Aukati Kaipaipa

This is a smoking cessation service developed by Maori, for Maori and delivered by local Maori providers. It is a free service and provides face to face support in your own home as well as free nicotine patches, gum and lozenges.
