Rapid Antigen Testing kits

 

Rapid Antigen Testing is available at your local GP. All COVID-19 associated medical costs are free. Please do not hesitate to seek treatment or be tested.

 

To be eligible for Rapid Antigen Testing kits (RAT) you must meet Ministry of Health guidelines for the tests. Once you have completed a simple questionaire, if you are eligible, you can place an order. Then you will be able to pick up your tests from one of the distribution locations.

'The RAT Requestor' enables anyone experiencing COVID 19 symptoms or identified as a household member of a COVID 19 Case to electronically create an order of Rapid Antigen Tests, for themselves and their household members.

 

This form only needs to filled in once per Household. You will need to supply some personal details, including a cell phone number that will be used to send a verification code. Filling in the details then creates a unique order that will be sent to you via text.

 

 

If you have any symptoms of COVID-19, including a runny nose, headache, fatigue, sneezing or a sore throat, we advise you to please isolate and arrange to be tested.

You only need to be tested for COVID-19 if you:

 

  • Are a household contact of a positive case of COVID-19
  • Have COVID-19 symptoms
  • Have been asked to get a test by a medical professional
  • Are required to get a test for work or travel

 

Record your RAT test results online

 

Recording a negative result is as important as recording positive results. By recording both types of results, it allows a clearer picture of the spread of COVID-19 within our communities.

You may need to create an account if you do not already have one.

 

After you log in, the button to report a RAT can be found at the top of the homepage.

Record your RAT test results by phone 

 

You can report a RAT result over the phone if you are having trouble using My Covid Record, or want to report someone else's RAT result and do not have their NHI.

 

Call: 0800 222 478 and choose option 3.

Scanning QR codes and recording where you have been is required until 4 April 2022.
