Free unlimited public WiFi now available at Whanganui Hospital 9 October 2018

Following a short trial early this year, Whanganui District Health Board (WDHB) is pleased to announce that unlimited free public WiFi is now available at Whanganui Hospital to allow patients and visitors to connect their mobile devices to the internet during their time on the hospital campus.

For the last two years, FAST has stood for Face drooping, Arm weakness, Speech difficulty, Time to call 111, but this year, Time has been replaced with Take action - call 111. It's important to note that any one of the three conditions (Face drooping, Arm weakness, Speech difficulty) can indicate that a stroke is occurring.
