Senior doctors and dentists at Health NZ public hospitals and health services plan to strike for 48 hours on Tuesday 23 September and Wednesday 24 September. Emergency departments will be open for emergencies only. GPs, after-hours and urgent care clinics, and other community health providers are not affected by the strike and will continue to operate as normal.

- wheelchair prescription and modification for conditions like stroke and chronic fatigue.
- therapy for tamariki with disabilities, and assessments for housing modifications and equipment.
- anxiety management and group work for adults with severe mental illness
- support for older adults with serious mental health diagnoses and dementia.

You will need a referral to access our services. We accept ACC and non-ACC referrals.
Referrals are accepted from:
clinical staff for inpatients
healthcare providers
external agencies such as NASC, fieldworkers.
