About the web tool
The web tool presents data since 2009. There is a focus on women giving birth and pēpi born in 2024.
There are 19 indicators.
- One indicator applies to pregnant women who registered with a lead maternity carer (LMC).
- Eight indicators apply to standard primiparae (women giving birth for the first time). This term identifies a group of pregnant women whose interventions and outcomes should be similar.
- Six indicators apply to all women giving birth in New Zealand.
- Four apply to all pēpi born in New Zealand.
