Meals

Patients are provided with three meals a day which are selected from a menu the day before. Menus include choices for specialised diets, including diabetic and vegetarian choices.

A beverage trolley comes around at meal times and at morning and afternoon tea time. This service is just for patients.

Top Café - located next to the Lambie Building
Monday to Friday, 8am - 7pm.

Espresso Plus Café - located in the foyer of the main entrance of Whanganui Hospital. Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4pm

Accommodation

Our Mauri Ora facility is a warm and embracing whare in the hospital grounds available as emergency accommodation for people who live outside of the Whanganui city limits.
